Looking for opportunities to get out there and share your voice? Here’s the scoop on weekly and monthly events in Boulder County and nearby!
A few notes about how to use this guide:
Open mic’s are events where each singer accompanies him/her/themself or brings an accompanist.
For jam sessions, singers bring charts or sheet music for their songs, and the house band accompanies (typically jazz).
Karaoke enables singers to sing with backing tracks provided by the venue.
Meetups provide an opportunity for musicians to share works in progress. They tend to be less “performative” and more of a workshop format as participants support each other in exploring and sharing. Most often original music. Best to accompany yourself or bring an accompanist.
In a singaround, a group of singers learn and sing songs together.
This schedule is current as of Summer 2025, but I suggest calling ahead and/or checking the website to make sure things haven’t changed. If you are under 21, please call ahead to the bars and make sure minors are able to attend.
